Somebody in another thread wrote that the affected people already received an email as a heads-up regarding layoffs, all 5,000 of them. Is this true? Does it mean if we didn't receive an email we're safe? Or is this just somebody using a horrible situation to troll people (sadly, there are all kinds of people around)?

Every single employee in the company got the exact same email That was not geared to any one specific group or person . It was just a heads up, we're going to let go of 5000 of you. that's all it was ,

No, all employees have received the email. They sent in batches.
When do layoffs begin? This is so unsettling for us employees. Can't sleep at night and having major anxiety. The rumour mill is going crazy.
my wife is an Inventory control clerk indianapolis Dist Center and just texted me saying 5,ooo layoffs are confirmed but with no details yet.
Yes. Karen's email went out yesterday afternoon in waves (I got mine 30 mins after some of my coworkers did). I don't think some got it, some didn't because if that were the case you would have people all over this message board saying "what Karen email?? I didn't get a Karen email..."
There is no other email. Nobody impacted is aware yet.

Idk of that is true. On last years big layoff they did a big mandatory zoom call/meeting for us with hundreds on it to tell us we were safe. And did another one for those being laid off with those details.
This is not the Karen email I'm talking about, by the way.
