This isn't exactly innovative. Target has had this service for years.
I think it has to do with the fact that this specific location has totally changed the POS system and the back office system. The website is for this store likely to coincide with the new system they have running. (Just a guess)
Hasn't K-Mart offered free in-store pick-up for years? I realize this is for the merchandise specific to this one store, but still, hardly seems like a new thing

And this store was recently remodeled, so it isn't closing soon.
I’m assuming they are going to launch the ability to shop online from this store. They’ve been hinting at it for months.
