I found a pdf with severance info on the cvs intranet by digging around a little. They base it off the job grade and years worked. I think the lowest I saw was 4 weeks.

From what I heard from people that got laid off from Aetna/cvs in March 2021 in IT in Connecticut CVS changed the severance package before the lay offs.

It was 1 week for every year they were employed but CVS changed it “by their job description” this way they would not have to pay out so much to the employees. In the long run these employees only got 13 WEEKS severance instead of the 1 week per year. The worse part is most of the employees were there between 30-40 years.

That is a slap in the face to those dedicated employees.

I won’t walk into a CVS store or support them in any way!
