All you needed to know was that the company was not paying rent at its stores during the COVID shutdown to grok that the place was in a death spiral. It had no money to pay the landlords to warehouse goods, pure and simple. Did most of us know this?
I think anyone with a brain knew this place was doomed in 2017 or so. We've outlined all the reasons for the last 3 years as to how it got in that position.
It was just inevitable.
