Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

What the latest?

Any ideas on following

should we expect more redundancies globally?

  1. Will earnings call improve stock price?

As lack of communication from slt is very worrying.

It turns out there is no latest. We are just passengers on a rudderless ship. The captain's barricaded himself onto the bridge and is just ploughing on regardless. What's next iceberg, tsunami, f*** knows really

My 2 cents:

  1. CS has many competitors globally, CS has long lost competitions at least in quality and price,
  2. Nowadays, stock price does not reflect the actual financial strength of any entity, all gambling. Earning call is all about lies and who is going to believe those BS. CS has 10B debt, higher interest rate, close facilities, cut benefits, layoff etc etc, is it getting better?!

The reality is that earnings will be so bad, that in order to make em look good...

They axed everybody's (except the big C level) compensation and 401k!!!

What is really a coincidence, is that board and C levels got actions of the company just 1 month before the CEO visited the WH.

Stock price went up and then sunk like the titanic.

Pump and dump, helooooo!

No one has had the spine to stand up and justify the chiselling away of compensation and benefits.
I would think if anything of note was to happen it would be announced this week. If nothing happens and the new modus operandi is silence through 6 layers of management then the company is f***ed. If "they" can't be bothered doing their jobs why should any of us.
