I guess someone should tell you Intel was an 80b company that now will do revenue of 50b.

@1ue
I guess someone should tell the ETF fund managers of SOXQ (INTC 7.57%, AMD 7.18%), SOXX (INTC 6.26%, AMD 7.22%), and many others that hold both INTC and AMD that their strategy is WTF stupid.
@1too+1nPq3Rn8 WTF what a stupid strategy, like investing in Coke and Pepsi.
Pick a winner if you think they lead and are grabbing market share in an exploding market.
Let’s be serious x86 isn’t a big growth market, nor is Server with the focus on AI.
Even with AMD rich valuation it is far better positioned than Intel which is behind in technology, never going to be competitive in manufacturing, in AI fighting Nvidia, AMD and all the Cloud custom designs. In client and server AMD, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Google, Qualcomm and others.
Attacked from all sides is Intel and leader in nothing but market share. It’s a GM situation and it will end poorly
I am invested in both AMD and INTC and want both companies to succeed.
Healthy competition leads to lower prices, higher quality goods and services, greater variety, and motivates companies to innovate.
Intel needs to do better.
Right, but it's not really funny. Expect AMD to have continued milking the DC market while in the absence of a competitive product there Intel apparently had to resort to churning out and dumping low value client SKUs to prop up the gross margin at least some.
@uuy Hilarious!
Someone has already opined on this Board that those at Intel who see AMD in their rearview mirror are simply driving backwards.
Is that you PG? I know how much you love taking a "victory lap" before actually winning. Like your first few quarterly calls where you declared "Intel's back!" then proceeded to drive the company into a ditch, where you saw AMD in the rear-view mirror.
Maybe wait until next Tuesday to see how AMD did in Q2? Just a though.
@OP+1nPq3Rn8 Bruh, in what planet do you live??? Look at where AMD stock is in the last 5 years vs Intel's... get back to me/us once you've looked at that...
AMD quarterly next Tuesday, we'll see who's really in the rearview mirror.
Pretty pathetic that Intel fan boys are so desperately clutching at straws that they are now gonna try and use a quarterly call such as this as a stick to try and brag against a company that 10 or so years ago had always been firmly second to us. It says a lot about what Intel has become. I am coming up to my 20th year at Intel , I can tell you honestly we are in an awful place
They are waiting for you to go there
