Any news on whether layoffs are expected?

Sandeep announced 5-12% layoffs every year and replace with contractors. Since they just had a round in April/May I would suspect another round same time every year. Sandeep is holding up approvals of any contractors too, anyone left behind is going to just be saddled with more work.
