Arista is a se-y progressive company and the only one that really can give Cisco a run in technology and market spin. Juniper while I was there proved to be relying on its ISP biz to the great part and in Federal had waited too long to get serious giving Cisco ( and me at the time when at Cisco) a ten year head start which they are finding hard without winning a few big contracts to catch up to. In fact imo Juniper while a good company lacks gravitas in the market and certainly within the SLED and Fed markets. Arista pitched themselves as the high end switch company , I sold against them prior and they were tough to beat even if more expensive due to the general belief they are se-y and forward leading vice Juniper, HP, Dell.
