HIS just laid off at least 20 people today. Anyone else impacted?

I found out my job was being eliminated May 1st after 10 years of service and being the 3rd generation 3Mer. It's a terrible feeling, but there is life outside of 3M. Everyone that has left the company has found bigger and better. It's out there...good luck!
I got the call yesterday along with 1 other person. There were two HR people and the two of us getting let go. :( Sad because I was slated to be part of the Healthcare SpinCo.
Been over a couple weeks now since we heard of additional group layoffs. I was wondering where HR went. Guess they are back now from their much needed R & R and summer break. Time to get back to sending those 15 minute group teams meeting invites and save 3M company some $ for its never ending legal battles.
Heard many countries in EMEA and APAC haven't even started eliminations yet. Goodluck to folks in those regions; next couple months not looking good....

Been there. Sorry it happened to you. Do not blame yourself. It is cold, but only business. Your family and friends love you and will see you through. Breathe. Pray. One foot in front of the other. Best of luck. 🌹
I'm sorry. I did find another job that I love when it happened to me a while ago. I hope you will find one that you love soon. Be kind to yourself.
