Hock Tan is a dictator. He doesn’t like you, pack your desk up, you are on your way out. No one will say anything, just suddenly you are being told you are no longer needed. I’ve had a many people who work near me just no longer there. They stop showing up, then someone new is there. The whole building has been eerily quiet because so many people have just disappeared lately.

If you have been in Broadcom for a while, then you should know by now that Hock does not announce layoffs like other companies. They keep happening all round the year, just the person who is sitting next to you or you yourself will suddenly be ejected out of the company. It depends who Hock decides to fire.
Is it VRM layoff ( Now VRM part of Broadcom) or Broadcom layoff.
