I’ve enjoyed following this for a while. A lot of useful information about the company (and some useless lol). They should send this link to you when you’re hired so you know exactly what you’re getting into before you start. I guess that ruins the element of surprise ;)

Sorry to break it to you but EVERY company goes through downsizing at some point...unless you join a very small organization that is in full growth mode...this is not an uncommong thing to occur and the only real defense is to always figure out how to be the best at your job as possible...so if you are RIF'ed you can quickly get another role at the company and redeploy, or based on your reputation get a job at another company. If you are bad or even mediocre at your job then this is always a threat...just the way things work.
