ADP is selling the Elk Grove Village building in fall 2023. Email said associates working there will be moved to a new location yet TBD. Don’t know why they’d bother getting a new space when they only want to hire in one ADP locations which EGV is not.

Hoping for job cuts, a lot of dead weight there.
Most likely the space isn't needed anymore. Plus, the property is valuable and they have owned the location since Sept, 1996. If they did a traditional mortgage, it would be almost paid off.
More likely, you might anticipate possible job cuts. You don't need empty space in today's world. It has been 5 years since the VERP. Could employee cuts be planned?
One possible reason is that Chicago is a large package delivery market for Maj,Natl & SBS. Paper volume is way down but package count remain high, clients are used to their early deliveries, they also merged St. Lou, Detroit, Cleveland and others into that hub.
It’s certainly possible and wise to move that print to NYM & Alpharetta but Operations brains too lazy and too comfy in their roles to eliminate EGV & face client backlash for later deliveries. Interesting to see what happens if UPS strikes, all ADP print sites rely heavily on UPS.
They recently termed the jax office lease and moved it 3 miles to another building. Im assuming for a better rate as its half the floor space.
With commercial real estate prices tanking i wont be surprised to see the company shaking up more non1adp offices tp save money.
