How much revenue has CB brought? Pretty sure their stock was in the trash when we bought them and they weren't doing to hot.
CB was the discount crowdstrike buy. We wanted crowd and couldn't afford it

What the ... VMware had a tight partnership with CB for many years before the acquisition. There was already a pipeline to include CB sensors in customer rollouts before CB even went public. VMware did not have that relationship with anyone else. We just _used_ CrowdStrike products. Don't rant about things you don't know about.

Tanzu has close to $850 million revenue and 2200 headcount. With aria merge they are expecting to generate 2 billion with 4k headcount by this eoy. I would assume bc will cut atleast 25% people.

How much revenue does Tanzu generate?

I doubt anyone knows since no one I’ve ever met can explain what Tanzu really is anyway.

Every individual product will be measured on how it can contribute to the bottom line and not the prefix applied by marketing.

Ya know, like a company should be run.

Carbon Black will be sold, probably to Private Equity. That will be a good thing for them although not without pain, most PE companies will follow a similar model to Broadcom to increase value. VMW has done nothing with them really. It was a good profitable company with loyal customers before acquisition, hopefully will be again (if they can sort the product quality out)

I think CB will be sold off. Shame as it had real potential.

Tanzu will not be sold off, will certain products under Tanzu disappear or be rebranded aria, good chance.

What happens to the EUC (Workspace ONE and Horizon) BU? How can this BU fit into Broadcom's growth strategy? Seems like this may be the first BU to spin out of VMW because Hock is likely unaware of the growth potential for legacy UEM & VDI technology.

"You can’t hide failing products under the rug in a Broadcom world." All of VMware'z products are failing.

CB will get merged into the Symantec division.

LOL, well since we're obviously just making things up here, CB will be acquired by CrowdStrike.

CB will get merged into the Symantec division. The serviceable parts of Tanzu will be kept, the remainder will be scrapped at the altar of IRR. There are no long shots or pet projects inside Broadcom.

CB will be sold off.

Some products under the Tanzu umbrella will survive, but many will be ki-led off. That makes sense as many new Tanzu products never gained traction in the market. You can’t hide failing products under the rug in a Broadcom world.
