I paid dues for years and got fired for trying to do the right thing and put safety first. The company and the union is corrupt to the bone kick me out to the curb like a rat after giving them 100% for doing what was right.

There are plenty of examples of what unions are getting for historic pay raises these days from all different types of workers. Anything less than 20% over 4 years would be an embarrassment to the local 824 leadership.

  • CWA and Att-15% wage increase with additional increases based off future CPI index.
  • West Coast dockworkers won a 32% pay increase through 2028 and will get a one-time “hero bonus” for working through the pandemic under a tentative contract agreement reached with port employers, according to people familiar with negotiations.
  • LOS ANGELES (CNS) -- The Los Angeles Unified School District and the union representing its teachers announced Tuesday they have reached a tentative labor agreement that includes a 21% salary increase
  • SAN DIEGO — San Diego City workers are getting a series of pay raises totaling nearly 23 percent to more than half its workforce.
  • ATLANTA (AP) — Pilots at Delta Air Lines easily approved a new contract that will raise their pay by more than 30% over four years and likely lead to similar agreements covering union pilots at other major U.S. airlines.

The Teamsters TA with ups has a $2,75 raise in the first year of the 5 year contract, this is more than our entire 4 year contract in Illinois. Not to mention the next 4 years of the Ups contract has an increase of $7.50. Sounds alot better than my ibew cr-p contract.

The IBEW will cave per usual. It’s getting harder and harder to differentiate the IBEW and Frontier from each other. They both stand for the same thing anymore. Blowing money on failing DEI departments when most companies are laying off and slowing the hiring of DEI personnel. Union contracts in the past 2-3 years from around the Cou have been getting anywhere from 10-30% pay increases while IBEW local 824 will settle with 7% over 4 years while our insurance rates go higher. I can guarantee that the union will hail getting Juneteenth off as a win for them when Frontier should have given it to its employees to show that they care about the social issues they cram down its employees throat throughout the year. IBEW is losing its members from Frontier year over year while taking over other failed IBEW contracts. The IBEW local 824 no longer has its Frontier members best interests at heart.
