I was surprised when I got here because I thought the stories about the bad corporate culture at Pembina couldn't be entirely true. Even the pay I'm happy with can't compensate for the horribly toxic vibe here. In fact, I don't think there are any competitors out there with a more toxic corporate culture.

The senior manager that was promoted on my team is one of the worst indivicuals. Mediocre work. Lead by fear always. It’s awful working there.

Pembina has really bad and vicious managers on all levels. I don’t know how they get promoted. They must be part of one of few “gangs” working together to make things suitable for them but horrible for others. They don’t hire good people, HR seem like doesn’t care or interfere. Horrible
The corporate culture is literally the worst and I have worked at quite a few places. Unfortunately, those people in leadership positions are mostly the problem so nothing will change. Good luck to you. I left a few years ago and seems nothing has changed.
