Pto accrual

The pto accrual here is... a downfall to this company. 6 hours every 2 weeks unless you have substantial tenure.

I love the company culture, I do like my job, colleagues and boss, but this a downside.
I have never worked for a company that does not give you your PTO all afternoon once in a lump sum at the beginning of the year.

Constantly waiting for more to accrue is difficult when life happens. 6 hours isn't even a full day off every 2 weeks.

Yikes, this is a drawback.

I am very grateful that it rolls over also.. however I've only been here for a little over 2 years, maybe with more tenure I'll appreciate it more because then we get more time..

But it is very difficult when only 6 hours or so are accrued every 2 weeks.

To me I’m glad we get our PTO in incremental amounts. And the fact that it rolls over which is super rare. I always like knowing that I have about 90 hours saved up when I get to 100 I have a party. Again, however I’ve been here for 12 years.

Green alert is so rare in my department. This would be appreciated.

I feel it OP. I put in the last Gallup survey that I hope the company will consider giving employees their pto all at once..

It makes it easier to accrue occurrences when you get it gradually.
