How is it possible for Optum to have such a high amount of growth but no positions for team members being laid off to move into and stay with the company?

Did you see the auditorium of a thousand interns? With Optum t-shirts? Cheap labor, false hopes. The American Tech Business model has transferred to - Send jobs and pay to Foreign lands to satisfy investors who are from foreign lands. Unless the workforce stands up for themselves - nothing will change. American Middle class is being sold off.
Growth? is actually artificial growth not organic. This org is known for M&A - take over, rid of staff ( no integration). Throw the babies out of the water to show case profits (its not profits). When you reduce work force without any regards to show so called "growth" - its not growth!!

@wwb+1 it wouldn’t surprise me 1 bit. Bring on the d-mb games and how overworked they can force us to get to ensure hyper profits for the Executive Level/Board members/Shareholders…..this is why my output is bare bones energy. They want top production…..better find someone to railroad and abuse. Cuz I ain’t the one.
Heard that more layoffs in early august and more to come in September with 27% reduction across United and 9k at Optum. Buckle up folks.
