Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Recession will hit within a year or less

Jim Cramer no longer believes a recession is on the cards in the near future. Which means it's likely to happen soon https://www.cnbc.com/2023/07/18/jim-cramer-doesnt-see-a-recession-on-the-horizon.html

Look up "inverted yield curve" and what that has meant the last six recessions. But this time it's different! Yeah right. We've had extremely poor economic "leadership" in DC. It's not going to help our industry AI hype or not. Pray for the best, prepare for the worst. Good advice either way friends.

The old saying goes … when your neighbor looses their job we are in a recession… when you loose your job it’s a depression

Food prices are high - that's inflation. You have a job so it's not recession. Wait till you (a lot of you) lose your job. That's recession!

we entered a recession a long time ago, check your food prices and salary

as the other person mentioned, we just keep changing the definition of it

i think we are in the twilight zone now, everything is a mirage

What’s your definition of a recession? The definition of a recession seems to change more than the definition of a woman!
