They should close the Ventura CA store. It's old and in need of major repairs and updating and in a dying mall. You can flex just so much.
This is a surprise to no one, this store is a ten minute drive from Glendale Galleria. Glendale is a top performer and has been remodeled over time. Eagle Rock is ancient. This closure was overdue.

As long as there is Amazon and online shopping Chinese companies like Temu and Shein selling dirt cheap products (while you giving permission to feely give up your personal data), physical stores will not survive. One by one they will all disappear. Many stores are not selling enough products in the store to pay for the real estate rent, plus employees, health care, pension, electricity, maintenance, cost of stocking items, etc. The profits just aren't there. Also, many people are still working from home, so people don't buy as many cloths as they used to. The only jobs that will be left in the future are those that deal with math and science research and advancements. So go back to school and get education. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is going to take over many jobs. It is advancing faster then you think. 2024-2025 will be the year for major layoffs as many companies upgrade there systems to AI. And things will not be getting better anytime soon. So save your money instead of going shopping. You'll need it to feed yourself. Tough times ahead. USA debt is over 32 Trillion dollars and China/Japan are holding over a couple trillion dollars. So when China says to USA, pay up, where is USA going to get that money from. Printing - will that drives the value of the dollar down making it almost worthless. Do some internet search on this and you'll see I'm right cause I've gotten all this information from the web myself. Happy surfing.
