Thread regarding Accenture layoffs

ESG has ruined this company

I’m not talking about equal opps for all - that’s a nobel goal and one to which ALL employers should embrace.

I’m speaking directly to the current climate of shoving certain behaviors down one’s throat. Accenture wants SO BAD to adhere to this that training includes mustached men called “her”. If you don’t “celebrate” and “advocate” flaunting of lifestyle choices that make the majority of folks cringe, you’re on the outside here.

What folks embrace in private is their deal, I have no problem with that.

I DO have a problem with a company that says to bring “your authentic self to work” as long as it’s not your true conservative or moderate self.

Layoffs and performance achievement in this company HEAVILY weigh on ESG-specific goals. Gone is the meritocracy of past. Be aware…

I am not sure what you mean by ESG. But from the context you're describing, I think it's important for the company to have training around it. I mean, for starters, I am sure trans people working in the company wouldn't feel safe working around you.

You should know all that bullsh-t, including the adverts, are for the investors and future employees. Who don't know sh-t about what's going on in the trenches.
No ACN will endure cause they fulfill a need: career risk management for the C-suite.
