No matter how big the layoffs were, I get the impression that in the past everyone here cared about it more. But now it seems that most people have become more or less indifferent whether layoffs happen or not? Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not surprised by such indifference - nowadays most people are sick of Citrix.

Why are you even putting in the work of giving a 1 day notice? Better to wait and if the HR AI bot notices that you’re gone and keep getting paid the special bonus pay until non existent HR does something. Let’s compete to see how long it takes for your family and friends to notice.
"I think my pay per hour of work makes me wealthier than Elon Musk. Why find a new job if I can just badge in and leave after 5 minutes"
You're obviously the kind of useless POS who isn't needed by any company. I doubt you could even get another job. Don't worry, it will all be over soon! Enjoy your two months of severance (of which you'll lose 25% in taxes off the top.) That should last you until November.
Wrong. I think my pay per hour of work makes me wealthier than Elon Musk. Why find a new job if I can just badge in and leave after 5 minutes, according to the CEO. He said he was cool with that at the all hands because that’s how we achieve massive productivity gains with less people!
I read exactly what you wrote. Quote: "I will continue to do that until I get the equivalent to my severance pay under Citrix"
You are not getting your Citrix severance pay. You're going to get much less, probably half if that. Meanwhile you could have made a better salary all year at another job, so you have probably cost yourself money.
@1aex+1nEWgr8g Re-read what I wrote. I know I’m not getting the old severance package, so I’m giving it to myself by basically not working. Once I’m satisfied that I’ve been laid the equivalent of what would have been my Citrix severance package,, I will put in a one day notice.
So TK is obligated to honor Citrix severance terms up to 9/30. After that, it's whatever the CSG terms are. I don't know what those are, but you can bet your house it ain't two weeks for every year of service.
""end of September, when the Citrix agreements expire" - has this been verified? Has anyone seen an official document stating the terms? "
This is from the SEC filing of the merger agreement:
"In addition, for a period of twelve months following the Closing, Parent shall cause the Surviving Corporation and its respective Subsidiaries to assume and honor, the terms of the Company’s severance guidelines set forth in Section 6.07(a) of the Company Disclosure Schedule and provide the severance payments and benefits required thereunder to any eligible Continuing Employee whose employment is terminated under the circumstances described therein prior to the 12-month anniversary of the Closing. "

The culture of apathy at Citrix existed long before the layoffs. I've seen employees celebrate 10 or 15 years at the company with little to show other than their loyalty to the managers who kept them safe from the numerous cuts in the past. It's the culture.
"I am doing the minimum work required. I will continue to do that until I get the equivalent to my severance pay under Citrix, then I’ll put in a one day notice."
TK is waiting for the end of September, when the Citrix agreements expire and you won't be getting Citrix-level severance. It's less than 1.5 months away. OF COURSE he's going to do that. 100 percent guaranteed. It's in his DNA.
I am doing the minimum work required. I will continue to do that until I get the equivalent to my severance pay under Citrix, then I’ll put in a one day notice. FK TK. FK THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY.
Swipe into the office, do the bare minimum, go home. Checking this website is more than the bare minimum. Why does anybody bother checking here? Get a life and a second job already!
I think: (1) the major layoffs have already occurred, (2) there are fewer people hanging around this board. I mean, how many months can someone continue to complain about this horrid company? There aren't going to be any more surprises; we know TK's game plan. There's no future here. I'm sure a lot of people have moved on, perhaps to other jobs.
