China won’t reject it, it makes good economic sense to let it happen.
China doesn’t have any concerns about PE style companies or monopolies or “hurting the consumer”.
They are a friggin dictatorship who do far worse than approve deals, they oppress their own people every second of every day!
China will reject the deal, just to go against the US.
