Thread regarding Waters Corp. layoffs

My Opinion on the CEO

Udit Batra is a C-Class CEO, bottom of the barrel. He'll take the company nowhere, that's certain. What's also certain is that he'll fill his pockets to the max... We all saw him doubling down on his promises for Q2 growth but he also knows that even with the revenue and EPS miss in Q1, we know what happened with backlog shippments from Q4. Now the backlog has cleared so no more miracles. We know this. Everyone knows this. Wyatt acquisition was also a miss - low revenue and high price paid for almost no revenue, their margins are horrible. I can keep writting but everyone knows that this loser will tank the company. Get rid of him ASAP

My sentiments exactly. He’s so phony…especially when he says words like “compassion”

It is quite apparent that Udit Batra and Jon Pratt are here to get as much money as they can from this Company before they move on. They have no long term plan. Right now it is get rid of expensive employees (those with knowledge and experience) to help the short term bottom line. Once they have gotten their money they will move on. Like locust

Udit cares about no one but himself and is constantly looking for attention with the look at me campaigns.

What worries me is that there seems to be no one in the company who has the guts to contradict either Udit Batra or Jon Pratt, the guy who manages the Waters division. I completely agree that Udit's primary mission seems to be 1. please the Street and the Share Holders at all cost (employees be damned), and 2. build his own resume so that he can land his next (bigger) gig (again, at the expense of anyone who might happen to be in his way).
