Thread regarding 3M layoffs

so much cheek he could have another bu-t

this rubbish just in from the C.E.O. ON LinkedIn.........................At 3M, when we think about how we can best help support our communities, and create a more equitable society, we follow a simple approach: listen, understand, act.

By starting with open minds and open hearts, we can better understand what our neighbors need from us, and ultimately work together with communities to do the most good.

I was reminded again of the good we do at 3M at our Equity in Action Day, which we celebrated yesterday. It represents an important part of what we do: volunteering in our communities to create a more equitable and just society.

During the event, we heard a compelling keynote from 3M Board member Anne Chow (She/Her) on systemic inequities. We also heard from 3Mers around the world who volunteer in their communities, and all of us were encouraged to go out and do the same.

The work we do helps people around the world, one person at a time. Each moment advances us ever closer toward greater equity in our communities. We are proud of what we have accomplished and motivated to do even more.

Thank you to all 3Mers for their efforts to ensure everyone has a fair chance to succeed.

The stories on LinkedIn are definitely an alternative reality. Stomach churning is closer to the truth.

Laying off thousands of employees is super helpful in aiding our success! So just! Such equity! Thanks Mike!

Is it equitable to endorse misogyny by tolerating his CFO?

It isn’t about who is the best candidate and it has nothing to do with equity….it’s about who is buddies with who. It’s that simple.
