What does this mean for the St.Paul HCBG location and Spinco?

Nothing. This has been in the works since well before even the KCI acquisition
Dr. Rohit Kashyap, is the lead contender to become President and CEO of Spinco, with Ms. Kim Moller as the EVP of Sales & Marketing.
All the new SpinCo jobs are being posted as St Paul/Hybrid. SpinCo is still going to be headquartered out of Minn.
My understanding it much of it is to make HCBG (MSD specifically) much less reliant on any Remainco manufacturing and distribution centers long term.
As for the eventual HQ location, it isn't going to a small college town in South Dakota with no commercial airport.
