Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Most impacted?

Which teams/groups were the most impacted in May’s most recent round of layoffs? Any teams that were cut completely and shipped overseas? Was anybody given the option to change teams or take the package?

I’m hearing different stories…..

Thanks!

The process of letting employees go began last December, and since then, they have been gradually losing their jobs over the course of several months to prevent causing any unnecessary panic. There are still more employees who will be laid off in the coming future and more jobs/groups moved to India.

GSOC division has most impacts. 20-35% people were let go. Most of positions are moved to overseas.
