Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

The GUILT will stay with them forever

Cowards and backstabbers aren't very clever or bright. They may have short term gains as they step on you to protect themselves or advance their careers to the next title. But the long term guilt will eat them up from the inside for the rest of their lives. And their reputation is tarnished as others see how they treated others. In the end, all they care about is a few more dollars on their paystub, and they're willing to do anything and hurt anyone to get it. As a human being, they are low and unethical, and deep down they know it. For those who have been hurt by these "people", just know that: That they will have to fight their own guilt and look themselves in the mirror for the rest of their lives. They are worthless. A clear conscience is priceless.

Someday Qualcomm will be sued for all the nepotism and favoritism that goes on. This could be the lawsuit that finally brings QC to its knees.

I worked at Q for a lot of years and i believed all the lies from the managers. Until i didn't. It's kind of sad to see all the people on this forum worried about getting let go. About getting let go from a place they shouldn't be in the first place, for their own good.

This co is no longer considered a desirable company to work for. Their sales have been declining, there are no new projects, and they have a reputation for making empty promises and hindering one's ambitions. Other companies are more promising in terms of opportunities. Given the upcoming layoffs, it would be a wise decision to begin searching for a new job.

This post made me happy. I am also the victim of one such manager who doesn't do anything. Take all the credit by jumping in near the completion of the project and show off. Gives credit to people who doesn't even show up to work. not even login. shameless. Screws up complete team and ensures that no one at peace by creating fights. If you can name anything bad at qcom, he does it. By making sure that he has knee pads while talking to VP, he screws everyone. When I move in to usa, I had only one motivation! Get patents! Do some innovation! All my dreams are dead under this guy. Besides entire team knows him, no one takes action as he has support from VP. Some hope came when recession started! I was hoping this kind of people will be wiped out! So far nothing happened to him! He has no guilt. He enjoys other people suffering.

They may be ruthless corporate individuals now, but as they age, they will eventually experience the consequences of their actions. Just like everything else, their time will come to be replaced. One day, they may find themselves in the position of being insignificant or unimportant.

This is not the first time Qualcomm has let people go nor treated people bad but yet you still took a job at Qualcomm and gladly took their paycheck…. And someone will replace you and gladly take a paycheck from Qualcomm … no one will feel guilty and the cycle will continue

Easy fix...if off-shoring is stopped and true diversity where a lot of team members look very different from each other would help. But natural selection won't let it happen. See what's happened in faangs the last few years..

The reptilians in charge usually experience no guilt - they are subhuman & should be treated as such. Remember, they are no better than you.
