Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

This 2nd new wave of “leaders” is worse than the first

I didn’t think it could get worse. They spent everyone’s raises on these new people and they’re panicking to prove something. To keep the huge salaries and perks. Breaking down the little things we do have working.

Maybe drahi told them to make it worse so he can buy it back private for a penny. I hope a ton of people quit

He had no clue in Europe either. Stocks tanked there too before going private. Fines for all sorts of things as well.

I wonder if PD is the “genius” he claims to be or has he just been lucky with his operation in Europe? Doing business in America and doing business in Europe are two different things. Literally from day one with taking over the day to day operations with the Suddenlink properties everyone could see the new leadership had no clue what they were doing, in fact it was embarrassing. But before getting their footing in the West PD goes after CableVision and now he has two MSO’s with markets spread all across the United States and no clue at all on how to operate them. In his arrogance he thought they could be ran like his properties in Europe, but that fact right there tells me PD and his core group of leaders are not capable of running the CableVision or Suddenlink properties because they do not have the ability to adapt. I believe PD sees the writing on the wall with the failed sale of the Suddenlink properties, and even that shows his gross lack of understanding when it comes to doing business in America. PD wanted twice as much as he paid for the Suddenlink markets after literally running them into the ground for 7 years. There is not one person in this country who would offer him a dime more than he bought the SL markets for. I would be surprised if he was even offered what his purchase price was. I would say he has been extremely lucky in his business dealings in Europe but in America his luck has run out and everyone sees him for what he truly is. Someone with a lot of bluster and smooth talk but not a shred of business sense.

These people are in so far over their heads is not even remotely funny. Honestly I don’t know how they have been able to sustain careers in executive positions. They are completely devoid of ANY leadership skills whatsoever and they know absolutely nothing about this industry. I’m convinced you could take a group of 3rd graders and get better results with solving the problems in this company than you can with the clowns in leadership roles now. I said this company would not be around in 3 years, well I may have given it too much time. I may need to amend that prediction by a year or two.

I can't believe the place still runs. It's officially no f$#@s given for me. Just keep watching these "leaders" make mistake after mistake.
