Hearing they are going to lay off all the union employees at R&D in January when Aviation and Power separate. Reason will be that the work is no longer conducted at the center. Anyone else hear this one?

Sat in a call with one of VA's DRs. Person mentioned off the cuff that the important heads will be covered but they should be able to shed 20% through lack of work.
GE can’t find lower IQ people to come to 273 that will pass a dr-g test. So they are going to push them over to 273 to pad the books. So Verona can come in and clean house with in the first 6 months. Keep drinking what they are selling. The great reset is coming
They just added positions up there, there isnt any layoffs on the hourly side coming to any site in the next several years at least, and then the next round of Generator and Turbine work will be flourishing once again as its a cyclical business and thats how its been for over 60 years. R and D is going to be all Aviation employees, working under the same contract as 273 is. Their wage structures may change, but they are still going to be doing nothing day after day like they do today. SF has to have some nothing job to go to after Jan when he no longer holds office, so you can count on it!
is that true no bumping this round? grc has a bunch of long tooths up there
No bumping allowed this round of cuts. Another onion Side bar deal!
So we all end up at the main plant, who cares….
Why shiver me timbers. We are so scared.
can you blame GE those guys do nothing but sit around all day time to apply for one of those new Wind Turbine jobs downtown that will keep them moving
