Commscope has lost many good employees over the years and this pause on our benefits is only making it worse. If you’re good at your job, why waste your time here?

You need a reality check. This is no "pause". This is the end of a dying company. Only the c-suite will retain benefits until the end when bankruptcy begins.
you forgot one thing, they don't give two craps about you. You are a number and if you fall in the layoff line, then you're gone.
When unrelated and not understanding manager are in charge of engineering department and decision then that is what it happens. Some are chosen to be part of layoff and some leave on their own. CommScope has bright future working in this model.
LOST, most of its talent.
The few left, are just insecure and don't realize of their own value.
But, not to worry. Slt will lay them off soon!
