I tend to agree that the combat arms thing is asinine. How unfortunate that 3M brought this on themselves…

Ironic that the 3M individual in OIPC who would’ve approved moving forward with the sham litigation rose to lead all of LA, enjoying the fruits of that decision.

On the other hand, 3M owns its contribution to the PFAS saga.

The combat arms litigation is asinine.

There’s no way that all of the individuals claiming harm were actually wearing the hearing protection, among other factors. Hearing protection fidelity is low everywhere that it’s called for. Military is no exception.

Our litigious society continues to eat itself. Not saying 3M shouldn’t be accountable in some way, but this is ludicrous. The soldiers are greedy, the lawyers are greedy, and 3M is greedy. God forbid they all meet in the middle.

Meanwhile, the government who acquired, and even required, these things as well as PFAS-containing fire suppression products is not culpable whatsoever?
