I can't take it anymore and I've decided to leave this place.

The supervisors set up their favorites to meet metrics and yes they do it to make themselves look good/bonus’s. Those favorites blaze thru the work with not a quality mind set and the not so favorites clean up their mistakes afterwards, doing the more time consuming tasks. It’s a very divided and toxic culture here. And if you say anything you get targeted. Everyone knows it’s happening but some are afraid to say anything or they are profiting from it and turn their enabling heads the other way. End result.. patients pay/suffer all in the name of those unethical employees that don’t give a “ hoot” 👺👹🤡💩
They make the metrics for my department that not many can obtain. Then they entice us with a bonus if we surpass these ridiculous metrics no one can meet. Tell us they don’t micromanage while constantly monitoring my every mouse move and letter clicked. Scouring over every single chart looking for a mistake just so they can reach their own metrics and get their own bonus. You are correct it is micromanaging at its worst.
United Health Care / Optum coordinator for house calls. EVEN if you work from home they DO MICROMANAGE. You can not! breathe they deduct Quality points they don’t want you to get up to use restroom. DO NOT WORK here! They give bonus only to keep you if you leave prior to year you have to pay back. Horrible place they use metrics so you can do great work but they on you constantly!!!
Just leave, you dont have to announce it
Do what in the he-l you want, you work from home. They can't micromanage you ... They aren't in your house. It is just fear. I have no fear, I tell them no all the time and them that isn't happening. You give them the power, you can't do that.
I feel the same. We are grown adults who aren’t allowed to leave our desk other than scheduled breaks without some type of repercussions. I was much more productive with quality work before the constant monitoring and threats. This company is on a path of destruction.
