You all deserve what you get. This company has been going under for years. If you still work there you are the exact reason the company failed

LOL, just waiting for my pile of severance and then a new job. Yup, I'm the problem, it's me.
loyal employees sticking through to the bitter end, after dealing with constantly being sh-t on? that’s why the company went under? more companies could use that kind of dedication, maybe customer service wouldn’t basically be a thing of the past
What difference does it make?
Well, BLESS YOUR HEART!!
OP - at best, you are confused. Otherwise, you are straight up lying. You are actually the reason BB&B failed.
And qff forgot about Corporate Greed raising prices to make up for their losses during COVID, btw. Just a little thing. Ask the Oil Barons.
I cannot say that about my friend at 53. I can say that about many others at 53, but they are/were in management.
I recall a quote from a Presidential election several years ago. Bush V Gore? "It's the economy stupid". Yes, the corporate suite is ultimately responsible for the company as the Captain is responsible for the ship. Bed Bath and Beyond was a beautiful place to shop. My favorite. But with inflation wrecking havoc on the middle class....mortgages, rents, utilities, food, health insurance etc., a majority of shoppers cannot afford your merchandise spread. Get used to it. As the middle class declines in purchasing power Dollar General, Family Dollar etc. will be the place to shop. There will not be enough "elites" to make up for the loss in customer count. I don't care what the high paid executives, consultants, and advertisers say. Someday they will shop at Dollar General. We are in denial. Our culture is turning to 3rd world status. Sad.
Nobody but those up in the C-Suite are the reason this company failed. But anyone left shouldn't complain about being laid off because this was seen coming for many, many months. More than enough time to do what is best for you and get out.
This post is a pile of cr-p.
