Rumors floating around about a June 16th layoff. Anyone else hearing this rumor?

One laid off on my team last week.
Tech ops layoff today, so this may have been week too soon.
The service region I work in CA is super slow, we have multiple techs daily sitting around with no work. I feel like it's a matter of time.
They said in January after the 10% headcount reduction no more mass layoffs were planned unless business conditions deteriorated significantly. Going forward, any reductions would be at the business unit level. June 16th could be possible; but not sure if it would be mass or business unit level.
Sometimes I feel like we would've been better off staying with AT&T.
I couldn't believe we would sink any lower after AT&T bought DTV but was proven wrong. We're now under the barrel.
