Walgreens Sued by Ex-CEO for $200 Million Over Broken Contract

Nice going ,,,,,this company keeps getting amazing press and it just doesn't stop. When is there going to be a change in leadership before it's too late. This so-called leadership has done nothing. It's just amazing. What do they do every day? It's beyond embarrassing and costing many jobs because of it and will continue to do so.

Not sure why Walgreens would enter into an agreement with Wasson anyway. Whomever acted on behalf of Walgreens to approve the deal in the first place should be escorted out of the company if not already gone.

The lawsuit is regarding Roz Brewer putting the kibosh on future installations of the "smart" cooler doors with the electronic screens that block the view of the merchandise. Have to agree with Roz on this one. The lawsuit is being brought by ex Walgreens CEO Greg Wasson whose startup company makes the smart doors. Speaking for myself, I find the doors very annoying. Not sure why Walgreens would have entered into an agreement to install these doors in the first place.
