Now that we know better who was let go, it's obvious this layoff has done a great job of getting rid of some of the best people! I can't help but wonder what criteria were used to decide who to let go. It's mind-boggling to think that some folks who have only been here for a year or two are still around while some of the company veterans, with a wealth of experience, have been shown the door. What were they thinking?

Get over it.
It's always salaries and tenure. The more you make and the longer you've been there cost the company more and more money.
