"Feels like"?? Dude! The managers have actually come out and SAID their strategy for management: "We're fast followers". It's no secret.
And it's worse than that: One department copies another department. There are projects that are repeated between departments. Two teams doing the same thing. And it's not intentional. It gets discovered after the fact, but there is no reprimand for managers that have no vision, plan, anything.
There is zero oversight as to what directions the Sr "Directors" choose. The VP's certainly aren't shepherding things, they hide in their offices like scared little chickens.
It's. A. Total. Disaster.
