Do boeing managers just sit in meetings all day and don't actually do any work? I have never seen anything like this is other corporations...there managers actually work. Boeing has the laziest managers.

There it is @ugsu+1mzeUQPA
You are a Boeing manager.
That is the egotistical and demeaning response I would expect from a Boeing manager.
I am sorry I ever doubted you.
@ubua+1mzeUQPA
You might think your all that, but really deep inside you know your just a loser with a keyboard.
And you proved mine. Servant Leaders are humble. They don't toot their own ho-n.
Those who pretend to be leaders will lay out everything they do and pretend they are "facts"
They are facts
But it's also a fact that good leaders leave them unsaid.
Well, @scvj+1mzeUQPA, you proved my point. But I am, and I'm not bragging, just stating a fact. Like you're stating a fact: you can't handle the truth and use gossip/ lies to deflect. Then people cheer you on. Good times. Good distraction. But still not the truth.
There are some good managers at Boeing that do all of those things. Very few. But you are not one of them. I'm not sure you are a manager or even work for Boeing.
The way I know this is because those few good manager who do those things don't brag about it. They don't say what you said. They just DO it.
So, my BS meter is on high right now.
Nice try though.
Hi. Boeing manager here. I work to: provide my team: morale, support, tools, and defense from overzealous new micromanagers. I come in early, stay late, eat a quick bite whenever I can, take good care of injured employees, help file important paperwork, keep our team funded, and am available at any time when anyone drops by my desk. All while getting belittled and insulted from above and below. That's what a good manager does, and: you're welcome for the education.
Coworkers and I used to joke about how senior managers would spent eight hours a day in meetings never was anything ever rolled down from them.
How can you pay people to be in meetings for eight hours a day when literally nothing ever came out of it? Boeing has at least two layers of management they could completely get rid of and literally no one would notice.
Me and my coworkers used to openly wonder how senior managers would have meetings week after week for the entire day and absolutely nothing ever came out of them.
Okay. Let me explain something. Boeing management has been Ham & Egging it since the Phil Conduit days. Were talking about 25+ years, and counting!
Mommy and daddy ex Boeing executives get their misfit children to become Boeing executives.
Why don't you just look at their calendar?
I think you should spend less time thinking about what mommy or daddy are doing and get back to work.
Being a Union shop, they cant do anything for you anyway...
What Managers ? Do you see any managers ?
The entire time I’ve been here in Renton,
I’ve met about six maybe seven managers worth their salt.
To the rest, it is all make-believe, a fantasy world where they are King.
Reality – More like emperor's with new clothes.
Them that can, Do
Them that Can’t, Manage
you must be new...yes that is all they do
