Why aren't you constantly on the lookout for the next job opportunity? Why did so many of you allow yourselves to let your guard down? You are supposed to be the one in control of your own life and here you are giving that power away to someone else. Start being proactive about your career. Start networking, update your resume, and start applying to new positions right away. If you wait around for someone else to hand you a better opportunity, you'll be waiting for a long time.
