Pretty sure the direct managers were informed on Friday, as ours did not know on Thursday, but yesterday she was quite upset, emotional.
I can confirm as a manager, we DO NOT KNOW who affected, and won't know until Monday.
Remember the lady they promoted to run the call center after E B made a mess of it? She knew the whole first floor was about to be cut. They used her until she lost her job after delivering the bad news. That’s Sabre for ya.
Not true, been through 2 rifs and managers absolutely did not know or have any say on who.
Unfortunately they won't. Only people with signed NDAs will know. Those are the people that will be calling us on Monday. We have tried every possible back channel we had, and no joy.
Having been in an executive position during layoffs, it is nearly a certainty that the manager will know tomorrow if not today assuming that the news comes down on Monday morning and not afternoon.
