NO UNIONS! EVER! You vote with your feet. modern unions exist to benefit their leaders and politicians with “dues”.
One of the biggest reason Broadcom take over was blocked was the save American jobs. I don’t see a union interfering with keeping American jobs. Qualcomm wouldn’t exist today if all jobs were outsourced
We need strict labor laws like in Europe. This will avoid hire and fire trend. Also, avoid the over hire as well.
Don’t be fool, a tech employee union would not help much, but push companies to outsource jobs overseas or replace with AI. That’s what actually happened in Auto Industry and Detroit. For years there was not a single new plant opened in Detroit, all new manufacturing jobs are now sent over broad to Mexico.
