Not surprising. This “nurse’s week” was the most pathetic in my decade long career here. Everyone heard about the layoffs in prior auth. Almost like they were being purposefully cruel.
Most UR will likely be down to skeleton crew. Optum is already selling AI programs to facilities. Just waiting for it to be implemented here. It’s only a matter of time before ECS has layoffs. Doing it during nurses week would be bad PR
The top can’t keep track of anything.. the only thing they stay on top is when to cash out their stick options to build up their personal wealth .. sadly
