There was some talk a few weeks ago about another round of cuts in May, has there been anything new about it since then? We are well into May and it would be good to know if I am stressing over something that is not going to happen. I can do without extra stress in my life.

they said there will be no more layoffs!?!?
Not enough volunteers in Europe, so gotta settle with bigger contribution from other locations.
Listen to your leaders, GF is done with layoffs there will never to another one. So, work your a-s off for sub-standard salaries and don't worry GF will take care of you and give you a long term career. Now if you believe that BS then there is no hope for you. Reality is GF will do a layoff any quarter it needs to in order to try and make the books look better for the future quarters. Problem is they have cut the expertise and tech portfolio so much they have little to nothing differentiated compared to other foundries. GF should change their logo to a picture of the Titanic ship!!!!!!!!!

Earnings call is today. They wouldn’t announce anything before then. If there is going to be a layoff, they will make it be known, there, in front of investors, first, like last time.
