That is my personal impression, that we spend more time thinking about this company and its future than those who are at the top. I am not sure that they have any long-term plans for the company. That's why I think that maybe the best advice for everyone is to think more about yourself and the possibilities of getting out of there...

Welcome to capitalist greed. Nothing new here.
Even in difficult times for employees they try to maximize their personal wealth. Imagine using mass layoff as opportunity to sell stocks to get few more bucks more for a share. Is this even ethical?
I have had 5 ok years with company but the last 3 months have made up my mind to start looking for another move, I have been told my job is safe but unfortunately I have seen 3 amazing co-workers go and honestly know they were treated badly, I don't want to stay here anymore, I feel anxious coming into work now
Top dogs are only interested in the multimillion $$ coming their way. As long as the flow is smooth, they don't give a flying fcuk about this venerable company.
