Layoffs stop when recession is over. Recession is not even here yet.

Possible smart algorithm:

  1. Is this person from a high cost location?
  2. 1 Answer: No, Keep,
  3. 2 Answer: Yes, is there a substitute from a low cost location?
  4. 1 Answer: Yes, Pink Slip
  5. 2 Answer: No, keep until we can upskill someone in low cost location; then Pink Slip.

LMAO :D

By q3 they want all the announced layoffs to be completed and start new ones for q4 into 2024. According to management this will be a great save and all the old gold heads can be get rid off. Hearing they are using smart algorithms to decide folks to be laid off on the fly and providing pink sleep. WOW that is real time news.

They have started. But they might recall a few let go to fill up client layoffs so that it will not be 19k very less than that. And the once recalled will have a lower salary base to start with and work their way up before retirement.
