It's hard to be focused on work when there are so many rumors about cuts.
Regardless of whether these rumors are founded or not, they still make me very nervous and anxious.
However, I don't believe that anyone here feels particularly safe anymore?

Perfectly natural. In the 7 years I was there there were a total of 4 layoffs plus a wildly rocky closing of the proprietary photo studio warehouse I was located in when the company shifted towards making majority 3Dvis assets for catalog and online usage. Got pretty used to the incredibly volatile way the company was being run at the c-suite level. Just do your work and do it well, and make the most out of what you can in order to build up your resume and make sure that your time spent at W isn't wasted if the time comes for you to look for another gig.
