Thread regarding 3M layoffs

The current LinkedIn activity is bittersweet. Where was this support the past few years? Why don’t these same people have the same enthusiasm when people left on their own? Fast forward a few months and this support will disappear, guaranteed, like every other social media fad.

These “leaders” get rid of great people and then create layers of management for their spineless buddies to have a job.

One TTS employee posted her promotion the afternoon of layoffs on LinkedIn. That was tone deaf and downright d-mb.

Good people help each other

I’m really hoping MV posts “should have let you go sooner” on one of these threads.

It is actually nice to see the remaining employees rally for their peers who’ve been let go in such a public way. They see the writing on the wall, and none of them want to do twice the work. There is a significant number who are quietly packing their bags too.

Anyone see the Linked In post from Jayshree on the same Friday of Layoffs??? Jayshree the corporate pawn posts about some turkeys blocking the street in her way…

I say “Wow, So many TONE-DEAF “Turkeys” out there on the street AND Driving a car!”

Agree we have some pathetic people. If yo go to 3M Go and check articles about Roman’s message or restructuring, you can still find people who press like button on those. I bet these people will still clap when HR says they are terminated.

Great comment! People will do whatever they are told, especially indoctrinated corporate workers. The last 3 years have really shown it!
