Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Bed Bath & Beyond suing OOCL

"While retailers and shippers have filed FMC complaints over the failure of the carriers to provide service under their contracts or excessive detention and demurrage (D&D) fees, Beth, Bath & Beyond comes out swinging in its complaint alleging systematic failings, deliberate acts, coercive behavior forcing premium pricing, and a shipping company in a “profit-maximizing frenzy,” during the surge in container volumes over the past three years."

They probably did all those things. And that will probably be written off as "free market".

I'll tell y'all what happened - a horde of spootie-wonkles got onto the ships at night and tossed all our s*** into the Pacific. They are stress and they are everywhere! Beware of the spootie-wonkles! I said the spootie-wonkles! Amen, Dear Lord!

It filed a claim with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) on Thursday seeking at least $31.7 million from OOCL, a subsidiary of China’s Cosco.

It’s poised to pursue at least $7.8 million in claims against Taiwan’s Yang Ming, according to a legal filing in the Southern District Court of New York.

Useless SG and her ilk need to get paid!!

Interesting they had years to claim this but are doing so now that they are bankrupt. This will go nowhere.
