@1lcl+1mqx6Zqj, Intel is late to the party as usual. This isn't news any more. Intel is rarely mentioned in the company of all of the other tech leaders. It has relegated to the position of tech wanna-be but they can't get products or process improvements out the door without having to announce substantial delays. No one counts on Intel to deliver any more, the competition is much more reliable.

I'm ok with going to the office 3 times a week. I don't understand why it's such a big deal to some.

For all of the people complaining about being in the office remember, it is much easier for management to fire people when they can't even associate a face to a name. There will be big layoffs and the job market will tighten up. Even a cr-ppy job is better than no job. Suck it up, go into the office and work. You will appreciate your home life even more if you can leave this toxic job at the office.

just towing the line

I see the writer's strike is having serious effects? Toeing vs. towing? See if you can use each correctly in a sentence.

The problem is that all of the companies were lying when they said productivity didn't drop when everybody started working from home right after the pandemic started. They were all just towing the line, politically, and at the same time putting up a front for shareholders.

This company's problems were in full swing pre-WFH and ending it will not by itself do anything to fix them.

Fire all those who complain about work from office. Pretty easy way to figure out who are the losers, slackers and "quiet quitters".

About time. There's work and then there's home. Never the twain shall meet, lest you lose your sanity and self-worth.

Oh yeah, and it's called work to differentiate from playtime.

Get used to it.

There is so much cribbing from employees on coming back to work. Softie's and leechers.

The Quiet Quitters are angry! Will no longer be able to sit on their butts working half days and collecting a full paycheck. You now have to actually show up and produce results. Grove would fully support Pat's move.
