I already found a real job elsewhere. But, it is work from home, so coming in on the weekend is an excuse to get out of the house, and it's some extra cash. Plus, if our store makes it past my mid June hire date, I can say I worked thirteen years here. So, there's that.
After June 30, anything left will be done by Hilco temps.

I would work for $50.00 per hour paid in cash up-front. Same type of deal that many/all of the bbby management had...
They are hiring because associates are dropping like flies. They have nobody in the stores to handle the Karens demanding stuff be cheaper because they are going out of business.
Some of the comments on reddit over this question are sarcastic gems. One said he "didn't believe (they) were closing because they are hiring".
